1. About GoldWise

GoldWise (“GoldWise”, “the App”, “we”, “us”, or “our”) is developed and managed by Shivanshika Innovations.

The App provides informational tools relating to gold and silver prices, jewellery-cost calculations, making charges, value addition, wastage, taxes, savings planning, price trends, ornament guidance, and optional price alerts.

2. Acceptance and eligibility

By using GoldWise, you confirm that you can lawfully enter into these Terms. If you are below the age at which you can enter into a binding agreement in your jurisdiction, you may use the App only with the involvement and consent of a parent or legal guardian.

3. Informational purpose only

Nothing displayed in the App constitutes financial, investment, legal, tax, accounting, or professional advice. You are solely responsible for decisions you make based on information displayed in the App.

Before purchasing, selling, pledging, investing in, or valuing gold, silver, jewellery, coins, bars, securities, or related products, verify the applicable rate, purity, weight, charges, taxes, and terms directly with the relevant jeweller, seller, buyer, financial institution, or qualified adviser.

4. Gold and silver price data

GoldWise may display third-party market, benchmark, spot, or reference data, including IBJA-related gold data and MCX-related silver spot data obtained through external data providers.

Prices may be delayed, unavailable, incomplete, rounded, revised, or affected by market holidays, provider outages, currency conversion, publication schedules, technical issues, or other factors outside our control.

Rates displayed by GoldWise are reference rates and may not match the rates offered by a particular jewellery store, brand, website, city, dealer, bank, or trading venue. Retail jewellery prices may differ because of purity, location, inventory, brand policy, making charges, wastage, value addition, taxes, stone value, discounts, buyback terms, and other commercial factors.

References to third-party organisations, data providers, benchmarks, or trademarks do not imply endorsement, partnership, sponsorship, or affiliation unless expressly stated.

5. Purity conversions and derived prices

GoldWise may use a reference gold rate to mathematically estimate prices for different purities, such as 22K or 18K gold. These values are derived estimates and may not equal a jeweller's actual selling or buying rate.

Purity conversion alone does not account for local premiums, refining costs, margins, taxes, hallmarking charges, product type, or retailer pricing policies.

6. Calculators, planners, and ornament guidance

Jewellery Bill Calculator, Bill Analyzer, Gold Savings Planner, VA Discount Calculator, Making Charge and Wastage Calculator, and similar features provide estimates based on information entered by you and the formulas implemented in the App.

Results may differ from an actual quotation, invoice, tax calculation, jeweller policy, or final settlement. You should independently verify all calculations before completing a transaction.

Ornament guides, common charge ranges, buying tips, and educational content are general information and may not apply to every product, jeweller, location, or transaction.

7. Price alerts and notifications

GoldWise may allow signed-in users to create alerts based on target gold or silver prices. Alerts are a convenience feature and are not guaranteed to be immediate, continuous, accurate, or successfully delivered.

Notifications may be delayed or fail because of data-provider delays, internet connectivity, device settings, battery restrictions, disabled notifications, Firebase or operating-system behaviour, server issues, account state, or other causes.

You must not rely on an alert as the sole basis for a time-sensitive purchase, sale, investment, or financial decision. Always verify the live applicable rate independently.

8. Accounts and sign-in

Some features, including price alerts, may require Google Sign-In or another supported authentication method. You are responsible for maintaining the security of your Google account and device.

You agree to provide accurate information and not to impersonate another person, misuse another account, or attempt to gain unauthorised access to the App, its backend systems, or another user's data.

9. Acceptable use

You agree not to:

• use the App for unlawful, fraudulent, deceptive, or abusive purposes;
• interfere with the App, servers, databases, security controls, or networks;
• reverse engineer, extract, scrape, copy, or redistribute protected data or code except where applicable law expressly permits it;
• attempt to discover credentials, API keys, authentication tokens, or non-public endpoints;
• send excessive automated requests or otherwise disrupt normal operation;
• upload, transmit, or introduce malware or harmful code;
• misrepresent GoldWise data as an official retail quote, guaranteed price, or government-certified valuation;
• use the App in a manner that infringes intellectual-property, privacy, contractual, or other rights.

10. Third-party services

GoldWise may depend on third-party products and services, including market-data providers, Google Sign-In, Firebase, Firestore, Firebase Cloud Messaging, analytics, crash reporting, hosting, app-store distribution, and device operating systems.

Your use of third-party services may also be governed by their own terms and privacy policies. We are not responsible for third-party services, content, policies, outages, changes, or actions.

11. Privacy

Our collection and handling of personal information is described in the GoldWise Privacy Policy. The Privacy Policy forms part of your understanding of how the App operates.

12. Intellectual property

Except for third-party materials and data, GoldWise—including its name, branding, design, user interface, original content, software, features, and documentation—is owned by or licensed to Shivanshika Innovations and is protected by applicable intellectual-property laws.

We grant you a limited, personal, revocable, non-exclusive, non-transferable licence to use the App for its intended purpose. No ownership rights are transferred to you.

13. Availability, updates, and changes

We may add, modify, suspend, restrict, or discontinue any part of GoldWise at any time. We do not guarantee uninterrupted operation, permanent data retention, compatibility with every device, or continued availability of any third-party data source or feature.

You are responsible for installing updates where needed. Older versions may stop working or may not receive corrections, security improvements, or updated market information.

14. Disclaimer of warranties

To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, GoldWise is provided on an “as is” and “as available” basis without warranties of any kind, whether express, implied, or statutory.

We do not warrant that the App or its data will always be accurate, complete, current, uninterrupted, secure, error-free, or suitable for a particular transaction or purpose.

Nothing in these Terms excludes any warranty, right, or remedy that cannot lawfully be excluded.

15. Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, Shivanshika Innovations and its owners, personnel, contractors, and service providers will not be liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, exemplary, or punitive loss, or for loss of profits, savings, opportunity, goodwill, business, data, or anticipated benefit arising from your use of or inability to use GoldWise.

This includes losses arising from inaccurate or delayed prices, calculation differences, missed or delayed alerts, retailer-rate differences, third-party outages, unauthorised account access, or decisions made using information from the App.

Nothing in these Terms limits liability where such limitation is prohibited by applicable law.

16. Indemnity

To the extent permitted by law, you agree to indemnify and hold harmless Shivanshika Innovations from claims, losses, liabilities, and reasonable costs arising from your unlawful use of the App, violation of these Terms, infringement of another person's rights, or misuse of App data.

17. Suspension and termination

We may suspend or terminate access to the App or specific features where reasonably necessary to protect users, comply with law, prevent abuse, maintain security, address technical issues, or enforce these Terms.

You may stop using the App at any time and may remove it from your device. Where account-deletion functionality is available, you may use it subject to applicable retention requirements described in the Privacy Policy.

18. Changes to these Terms

We may update these Terms to reflect feature changes, legal requirements, security needs, or business practices. The revised effective date will be displayed on this page.

Where appropriate, we may provide an in-app notice or another reasonable form of notice. Continued use of GoldWise after revised Terms take effect constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms.

19. Governing law and jurisdiction

These Terms are governed by the laws of India. Subject to applicable consumer rights and any mandatory legal forum, courts having jurisdiction in Hyderabad, Telangana, India will have jurisdiction over disputes relating to these Terms or GoldWise.

Before initiating formal proceedings, you agree to contact us and make a reasonable effort to resolve the matter informally.

20. General provisions

If any provision of these Terms is found unenforceable, the remaining provisions will continue to apply. A failure to enforce a provision is not a waiver of that provision. You may not transfer your rights or obligations under these Terms without our written consent.

These Terms, together with the Privacy Policy and any feature-specific notices displayed in the App, form the agreement between you and Shivanshika Innovations concerning your use of GoldWise.
