1. Scope and who we are
Gas Booking India – LPG Guide (“the App”) is developed and managed by Shivanshika Innovations (“we”, “us”, or “our”). This Privacy Policy applies to the Android App and related support interactions.
The App provides LPG guidance, public informational updates, and shortcuts that open external calling, messaging, WhatsApp, and browser services. It does not create an LPG account, accept payment, or complete a cylinder booking itself.
2. Information processed by the App
Information stored locally on your device
- Your Light, Dark, or System theme choice.
- Your notification consent and onboarding status.
- A locally generated random installation identifier used only for optional push registration.
- Whether push registration was confirmed by our backend.
- The locally cached public updates and their last synchronized content version.
- A count of fresh App launches for the current installation.
Local preferences generally remain until you clear the App's data or uninstall it. Installation-scoped push preferences and the launch counter are configured not to move through Android cloud backup to another installation.
Firebase Analytics
We use Firebase Analytics to understand general App usage and improve navigation and usability. Events may include App and screen opens, the number of App opens on the current installation, selected and effective theme, device/app language and country setting, LPG provider selected, and the type of external booking option initiated. A booking event means only that an external handoff started; it does not mean a booking was completed.
Firebase Analytics may also process service-generated app-instance identifiers and technical information such as device type, operating system, App version, interaction timing, and network-derived general region. The App does not request location permission, does not contain advertising, and explicitly removes Android Advertising ID permissions.
Firebase Crashlytics
We use Firebase Crashlytics to identify crashes and reliability problems. Crashlytics may process crash or non-fatal stack traces, timestamps, relevant application state, App version, device model and operating-system information, session identifiers, Firebase installation identifiers, and a Crashlytics installation UUID.
When an external dialer, SMS app, WhatsApp handler, or browser is unavailable, we may record a sanitized non-fatal diagnostic containing the provider key, booking-method type, intent action, URI scheme, failure type, and stack trace. We do not deliberately include the booking phone number, SMS message body, or full destination URL in that custom report.
Optional push-notification registration
Push notifications are optional. If you allow them, the App uses Firebase Cloud Messaging, Firebase Installations, Cloud Functions, Firestore, and App Check to register this App installation and deliver LPG updates.
The registration record may contain:
- A random installation UUID created by the App.
- A Firebase installation or push-delivery identifier.
- Platform and push-provider values.
- App package name, version name, and version code.
- Notification-enabled status and server timestamps.
The push record does not contain your name, email address, phone number, Aadhaar number, LPG consumer number, contacts, precise location, or Advertising ID. When you turn push notifications off, the App attempts to delete the server registration. If the device is temporarily offline, deletion may complete on a later retry. Permanently invalid delivery identifiers are also removed during notification processing.
Firebase App Check and Play Integrity
App Check helps protect our Firebase backend from unauthorized clients. In production it uses Google Play Integrity. Attestation material is sent to the attestation provider for validation, and successful App Check tokens accompany protected Firebase requests.
Information you choose to send
If you contact us by email, your email provider sends the address, message, and attachments you choose to include. The App prepares an editable feedback draft containing App version, package name, device manufacturer/model, Android version, SDK level, and security-patch level. You can review or remove this information before sending. We receive nothing from the draft unless you choose to send it through your email app.
3. Information we do not ask you to provide
The App opens the system dialer and SMS composer instead of placing calls or sending messages directly. You remain responsible for reviewing and confirming any action in the external app.
4. How information is used
- To provide and synchronize public LPG updates.
- To remember theme and notification choices.
- To deliver notifications you have chosen to receive.
- To measure feature usage and improve the user experience.
- To diagnose crashes, unavailable external handlers, and reliability issues.
- To secure backend services, prevent abuse, and maintain service integrity.
- To respond when you voluntarily contact us.
- To comply with applicable legal obligations and enforce our Terms.
5. Android permissions
- Internet: used for Firebase services, public updates, and opening web resources.
- Notifications: requested so the App can show optional LPG update notifications. You can deny or later revoke it.
The App does not request direct call, direct SMS, contacts, call-log, storage, camera, microphone, or location permissions.
6. Service providers and external services
We use Google Firebase services including:
- Firebase Analytics for usage measurement.
- Firebase Crashlytics for crash and non-fatal diagnostics.
- Cloud Firestore for public updates and optional push registrations.
- Firebase Cloud Messaging and Firebase Installations for optional notifications.
- Cloud Functions for validated push registration and delivery processing.
- Firebase App Check with Play Integrity for backend protection.

The App can open services operated by telecom providers, SMS apps, WhatsApp/Meta, email providers, social networks, browsers, LPG providers, and website operators. Once an external service opens, its own terms and privacy policy apply. We do not control how those independent services process information you submit to them.
8. Retention and deletion
- Local preferences and cached content remain until cleared, replaced, or the App is uninstalled.
- Push registration data remains while notifications are enabled, until deletion succeeds, the identifier becomes invalid, or it is no longer operationally required.
- Analytics and Crashlytics information is retained according to our Firebase project settings and Google's applicable service-retention practices.
- Support emails are retained only as reasonably needed to respond, keep appropriate records, prevent abuse, and meet legal obligations.
Because the App has no user account and much of the service data is pseudonymous, we may not always be able to associate a request with a particular Firebase record without sufficient technical information.
9. Your choices and requests
- Deny notification permission or turn notifications off in App Settings or Android Settings.
- Clear App storage or uninstall the App to remove locally stored preferences and cache.
- Review and edit any feedback email before sending it.
- Contact us to ask about access, correction, deletion, withdrawal, or grievance rights available under applicable law.
Withdrawing push permission does not affect processing already completed. The current App does not provide a separate in-App control for Firebase Analytics or Crashlytics.
10. Security and international processing
We use reasonable technical and organizational safeguards, including Firestore security rules, server-side validation, App Check, restricted push-token access, and encrypted network transport provided by platform services. No method of storage or transmission is completely secure, so absolute security cannot be guaranteed.
Firebase and other external providers may process information on global infrastructure, including outside your state or country, subject to their terms and applicable safeguards.
11. Children's privacy
The App is a general LPG information utility and is not specifically directed to children. We do not knowingly ask children to submit personal information. If you are a parent or guardian and believe a child has sent personal information to us, contact us so we can review and take appropriate action.
12. Changes to this Privacy Policy
We may update this Privacy Policy when App features, service providers, data practices, or legal requirements change. The effective date at the top identifies the latest version. Where appropriate, we may also provide notice in the App or through the store listing.
